Across all three services, the people doing the technical work earn a flat salary. Nobody on the workshop floor is incentivised to sell you a car or pass an inspection that should not pass. That is the simplest way we know to keep the work honest.
It also means our reports occasionally upset sellers. We accept that as part of the job.
