Most of our pre-purchase inspections are on cars from private sellers and other dealerships. Our job is to inspect, document and explain — not to talk you in or out of a purchase.
Roughly 35% of cars we inspect have a finding the buyer was not aware of. Roughly 60% have only minor cosmetic issues. The remaining 5% need to be walked away from.
Two hours, two hundred points.
Underbody & chassis
Lift inspection of chassis rails, jacking points, exhaust, fuel system, suspension mounts, drivetrain components and oil seals. Photographs of any concern.
Body & paint
Paint thickness reading on every external panel. Identifies repainted panels, body filler, panel-gap variance and replaced glass.
Engine & electronics
OBD-II diagnostic scan, oil & coolant condition, battery and alternator load test, full HVAC cycle, infotainment and ADAS function check.
Tyres, wheels & brakes
Tread depth at three points per tyre, wheel rim condition, brake pad and disc thickness, parking brake operation, ABS bleed lines.
Interior & safety
Seat belt operation, airbag warning history, seat function, water-ingress check on carpets, dashboard fault codes, key-fob health.
Road test
Thirty minutes on mixed surfaces — KL urban, NKVE highway segment, low-speed manoeuvres — with structured listening for steering, transmission and suspension issues.

At our workshop
Drop the car at Wisma Mont Kiara before 10 AM. Inspection runs through to early afternoon. Report is e-mailed by close of business and we’ll call you to walk through it.

At the seller’s premises
Where a car cannot be brought to us, we dispatch an inspector with a portable scan tool, paint gauge and the basics. Expect a slightly less detailed report — a road test still happens, but lift access is not always possible.
